A Hustle Sparked by A Hobby
"Anytime you are home, there should be a candle burning."
I have been saying this since I started this hobby in the kitchen of my college house during my senior year at Kansas State University. I started cutting the tops off alcohol bottles and used the remaining base to make plant containers. Before long, I had a different idea and Rough Cut Candles was born.
Since I am a Kansas farmer, I take pride in only using wax from American-grown soybeans for my candles. I deliberate and choose only the best scents for the candles, and hand cut each bottle myself.
